It gives me immense joy to be associated with Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) for the last few years to serve as the President of the Association. MSSA has completed 126 years in rendering good work in the field of sports for school going children of our great metropolis, namely the city and suburbs.

It gives me joy to mention that for the first time in the history of MSSA we are affiliated to a national sports body such as Hockey India. Surely with this association MSSA hockey has gained recognition and has boosted the morale of our coaches and players.

MSSA has a long way to go. We are faced with lots of challenges from within and out side forces. We have got a committed team of Executive Committee members who are giving their time and talent for the Association free of cost. Working selflessly.

From the time I stepped in MSSA, it has been my only dream to convert this desert like premises into an Heaven for school children in sports (Mini Stadium-Astro Grass Football ground, Sitting tiers with changing rooms and a Hall for indoor games), built corpus and also form academies of few games such as Football, Hockey, etc. We have tried our best to save every rupees without compromising whatever is needed for the smooth functioning of MSSA tournaments.

I sincerely Thank you, dear Principals, Teachers and Coaches for entrusting your faith in us. May God Bless MSSA for years to come and may our dream come true for the little children of our City, State and Country with better facilities for the sports and good health. Long Live MSSA. God Bless MSSA.
